Drillgear has developed a new product to improve the efficiency of horizontal directional drilling; running and pulling of a protective casing consumes significant time. Our new product eliminates the need to weld or cut protective casing. The assembly and disassembly of our reusable drill casing is quick, simple and very efficient.

The ability to quickly add or remove elements of the casing liner allows improved control or your borehole. It offers high compressive and tensile strength for reliable pushing and pulling. Improved stability is achieved because the drill casing stops your hole collapsing which will improve your susses rate and you will drill more bores first time.

Drillgear's drill casing does not require any special equipment and can be made-up and broken out using standard HDD rigs.

The drill casing is fully reusable for multiple bores with the proper handling and care. Damaged threads can be can be recut many times with out significant loss of the pipe.

The mechanical properties of the 11.750 lb/ft, 0.534" wall drill casing has been laboratory tested to provide the following mechanical properties:

• Torsional: 80,000 ft lbs minimum
• Axial Compression: 1,700,000 lbs
• Axial Tension: 1,040,000 lbs

The drill casing is available in sizes of 5" to 20" diameter with various wall thickness and grades to suit your requirements.
